Boldshaves Cottage is a timber-framed grade II listed building dating from the 18th century. Built around 1750, it was remodelled during the Victorian era with brick chimneys and a brick bread oven at the north end of the cottage.

The name ‘Boldshaves’ comes from the thick strips of woodland (‘shaves’) that used to border fields in this part of Kent.

A stone's throw from London, Boldshaves Cottage is the perfect place to get quiet, unwind, and find your creative centre.
Immerse yourself in some kentish psycho-geographic bliss, take a deep breath, and grab a piece of Albion.
